Our chefs and owners have been cooking with us since the beginning. They always cook with an authentic passion and love that really shows when you taste the flawless Xiao Long Bao.
Our History
Mr Huang Jin is a small family run Taiwanese restaurant founded in 2012.
Originally we started at the bottom of the Rialto Tower and have moved to a cosy corner of Flinders Lane.
Our menu offers something for everybody, from our lovely light homemade dumplings to our family serves of fried rice and noodles and every dish in between.
You will never leave Mr Huang Jin hungry as we will always treat you like part of our family and everyone knows you can’t leave your families house hungry!

The xiaolongbao is juicy, and chicken with fried rice tastes pretty much like Taiwanese flavor which I feel a bit home sick

Went for the Xiao Long Bao and they definitely didn't disappoint! Also had the Emerald pork dumplings and pan fried beef dumplings which were really tasty, but was so busy eating and getting into it we forget to take a photo to add with the Xiao Long Bao!
